Principal Global Investors, a unit of the Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, has announced that its real estate investment trust style was added to two account platforms, at Wells Fargo Bank and Wells Fargo Investments.

The Principal REIT investment style is now available on Wells Fargo Investments' WellsSelect separate account platform available through financial consultants and on the Wells Strategic Portfolio available through the bank to private bank and high-net-worth clients, the insurer said on Monday.
Principal Global Investors is a diversified asset management organization and a member of the Principal Financial Group. It manages $122.3 billion of assets primarily for retirement plans and other institutional clients.
