The Pleasanton, Calif., e-payment software vendor Xign Corp. has formed a partnership with SciQuest Inc., a Research Triangle Park, N.C., firm that sells software that automates the ordering of goods and services.
The two companies said Tuesday that they would offer SciQuest's e-procurement systems in conjunction with the Xign Payment Services Network, which uses the automated clearing house system to transmit business-to-business payments while sending payment information directly into corporate accounting systems.
The companies said Xign's on-demand electronic settlement service easily integrates with SciQuest's suite of electronic procurement and supplier management programs.
Xign and SciQuest said they would focus their marketing efforts on large organizations with sizable invoice processing volumes.
