InsBank in Nashville, Tenn., has created a division that will focus on serving physicians.
The $200 million-asset bank is working with the Tennessee Medical Association to form TMA Medical Banking, the companies said in a press release. The division will provide working capital and other services tied to medical equipment, facilities and acquisitions.
InsBank also plans to offer customized banking products to the medical association's more than 8,000 members.
"We are excited to launch TMA Medical Banking as it is a continuation of our business model of serving closely held businesses and focusing on niche opportunities to deliver value," Jim Rieniets, the bank's president and chief executive, said in the release. "We've been privileged to serve the TMA as a customer for many years, and look forward to expanding our relationship in this capacity."
