Cocard Marketing Group LLC, a Nashville, Tenn., independent sales organization with more than 90 offices across the nation, has renewed its card processing contract with National Processing Co. LLC of Louisville, Ky.
National Processing specializes in processing transactions for small and midsize merchants. Cocard has partnered with National Processing "since the founding of our company in 2000," Rick Pylant, Cocard's president, said in a press release Thursday.
Pylant also is the president of the Electronic Transactions Association's board of directors.
National Processing is a subsidiary of Fifth Third Processing Solutions, a Cincinnati joint venture of the private-equity firm Advent International Corp. and Fifth Third Bank, a subsidiary of Fifth Third Bancorp.
