Jackson Life Names Regional Sales Chief

ATLANTA - Jackson National Life has hired a regional sales director for its Atlanta-based financial institutions marketing group.

The Lansing, Mich., insurance company said R. Barry Lowery will oversee sales of insurance and annuities to banks in the Northeast and in the Middle Atlantic region. Jackson National, the nation's 20th-largest insurance firm, holds $23 billion in assets.

Mr. Lowery was most recently in charge of new business development in the Southeast for Marketing One Securities, Portland, Ore. He was also a vice president and account executive with Compulife, a national marketing firm in Midlothian, Va., where he managed the investment program for 20 banks in seven states.
