Rounding out the staff at Jackson National Life's bank division, the insurance company has hired a new salesman to promote its products to banks in the South.
The $25 billion-asset company named Michael Brandriet a regional director, the sixth hire since the company formed a marketing unit that targets banks. The South was the last region the company had left to cover.
Jackson snared Mr. Brandriet from Primevest Financial Services, a St. Cloud, Minn.-based company that helps banks manage their brokerage units. He was a marketer of annuity products to bank clients.
In his new position at Jackson, Mr. Brandriet will cover Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas.
