Jonathan Coleman, who manages the Janus Enterprise Fund and its related portfolios, is to succeed Mr. Corkins. Mr. Coleman will give up management of the enterprise fund and its related portfolios, but remain the company's co-chief investment officer.

He will be the Janus Fund's lead portfolio manager, and Dan Riff will assist him as a co-portfolio manager while continuing as a co-portfolio manager of the Janus Adviser Long/Short Fund and the institutional long/short portfolio, Janus said.

Brian Demain, an assistant portfolio manager, is to succeed Mr. Coleman as the manager of the Janus Enterprise Fund and the company's mid-cap growth portfolios.

The changes are to take effect Nov. 1. Janus had $190.6 billion of assets under management at June 30.
