Key Bank Exec to Be RMA's Next Chief

The Risk Management Association voted to appoint Kevin M. Blakely to succeed Maurice H. Hartigan 2nd as its president and chief executive when Mr. Hartigan, 67, retires on July 30.

Mr. Blakely, 55, is an executive vice president at Key Bank in Cleveland. He was chief risk officer of KeyCorp from 1994 to 2005. Before joining KeyCorp in 1990, he was a deputy comptroller for special supervision for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, overseeing problem and failing national banks.

Mr. Blakely will be the seventh chief executive of the Risk Management Association, which is based in Philadelphia and was founded in 1914. It announced the appointment Thursday.
