Large UK Collection Agency Creates Outsourcing Division

One of the largest privately owned collection agencies in the United Kingdom, known as dlc, has announced the creation of a first-party outsourcing service division to meet the demands of clients.

“It was important for us to create a standalone outsourcing division in order to fully embrace the values, culture and vision of each client. Our collections outsourcing teams have become completely specialized to focus entirely on shared client objectives. To demonstrate our versatility, we have recently been engaged to manage outbound dialing campaigns for one of the UK’s largest supermarket chains, where we have successfully helped improve sales” says David Morton, dlc's senior operations manager.

The agency works across many industries - including Insurance, Telecom, Retail and the highly regulated Financial Services sector. The outsourcing services will be used from onset credit projects to delivering on long-term strategic objectives. Many of the solutions dlc provides are deeply rooted across clients supply chains and include complex integrations, according to the company.

The economic climate in the UK has increased pressure on companies to manage costs effectively. Many businesses are trying to deal with headcount freezes and the inability to hire staff with specialized skill sets, while also needing to deal with growing compliance issues.

"Businesses are turning to us as we can fill these gaps with specialist resources and help them realise the benefits of leading technologies, without them requiring to make large capital investments," says Mark Whale, senior business development manager. "Setting up a dedicated outsourcing division demonstrates the commitment we are making to these clients and the continued growth of this area of our business."
