LaSalle National Bank Names Executive

LaSalle National Bank, Chicago, promoted three executives, including group senior vice president Breck Hanson to executive vice president.

Mr. Hanson remains head of the bank's commercial real estate department. He has worked at LaSalle National since 1990 when it bought Exchange National Bank of Chicago, where he was first vice president in commercial real estate. Before that, he been a vice president at Northern Trust Co. in commercial lending and realty lending.

LaSalle also promoted first vice president Robert S. Holmes to senior vice president of the commercial lending department. He continues to manage marketing and administrative operations of the Missouri lending division's St. Louis office. Mr. Holmes was a vice president and relationship manager for corporate banking at Boatmen's National Bank, St. Louis, before joining LaSalle in September 1996.

The Chicago bank also promoted vice president Michael E. Lewis to first vice president of the Indianapolis lending division. He is responsible for Indiana commercial real estate lending. He was first vice president of commercial real estate in northwest Indiana at First Chicago NBD Bank before joining LaSalle in November 1996.
