Liberty of North Carolina Has Card Software Deal

Liberty Computer Systems, a Cary, N.C., provider of point of sale software for dry cleaners, has started offering its customers card acceptance software from Payment Processing Inc. of Newark, Calif.

Payment Processing announced the agreement Thursday.

Liberty has more than 4,000 customers. Doug Walton, its president, said in a Payment Processing press release that the software has streamlined credit card processing for its customers. "A typical bank can't offer the same technical and administrative support for payment transactions as our customers now receive from PPI."
