Malvern in Pa. Continues with Commercial Lending Expansion

Malvern Bancorp in Paoli, Pa., is planning to open a commercial lending office in a new market.

The $821 million-asset company said in a press release Wednesday that Trevor Harrison will oversee its first office in Quakertown, Pa. The branch, which is expected to open in the first quarter, would include teams for commercial lending, credit administration, private banking and wealth management.

Harrison has held posts at a number of Pennsylvania banks, including Essa Bank & Trust, Eagle National Bank, and Univest.

Malvern recently opened a new banking office in Villanova, Pa. and a commercial lending and private banking division in Morristown, N.J., where Weagley has banking ties. He was formerly chief executive at Center Bancorp, which merged with ConnectOne Bancorp.
