Manufacturers National Hikes Payout by 4 Cents
DETROIT - Manufacturers National Corp. said it has raised its quarterly dividend by 4 cents, to 33 cents a share, payable Sept. 30 to shareholders of record Aug. 30.
The company said per-share amounts were adjusted to reflect the 2-for-1 stock split declared July 19. A stock purchase plan will let the company buy back 2 million shares, when economically prudent, it said.
