Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Boston has elected Thomas C. Barry to its board of directors.
Mr. Barry, 63, is the chief executive officer and founder of Zephyr Management LP, a specialized investment firm in New York. Founded in 1994, Zephyr now has $1.5 billion of committed capital.
MassMutual had $450 billion of assets under management at the end of last year. Mr. Barry's election to its board was announced Monday.
