S1 Corp. said Monday that Mercantile Bank Corp. in Grand Rapids, Mich., has agreed to use S1 Mobile, the cell phone banking and payments system that the Norcross, Ga., vendor offers through its Enterprise unit.
S1 Mobile lets users view account information and make and approve payments and transfers.
"For our financial institution, having a fully integrated mobile banking and payments solution that can serve both consumers and small businesses is critical to our vision of serving this emerging channel," John Schulte, Mercantile's senior vice president and chief information officer, said in an S1 press release.
