Dave Widlak, the president and chief executive of Community Central Bank Corp. in Mount Clemens, Mich., has been missing for days.
The $550 million-asset company announced Widlak's disappearance Wednesday. News reports said he was last seen on a surveillance video walking away from the bank Sunday. He was reported missing Monday when his vehicle was seen in the bank's parking lot.
News media said the FBI was combing the company's books for possible clues to his disappearance.
The top five banks and thrifts have combined total assets of nearly $13 trillion.
