First National Bank of Omaha and Murphy Oil Corp. have introduced the Murphy USA Platinum Visa card enabling cardholders to earn rewards on transactions as well as savings on gasoline purchases.
It is the first cobranded card for the El Dorado, Ark., petroleum company, which operates more than 1,000 stations in in the Southeast and Midwest. The card was launched last week.
The card has no annual fee and provides discounts of 4 cents per gallon on gas purchases at Murphy stores. Cardholders also receive 1% cash back on other transactions, excluding gasoline purchases.
