MyECheck Inc. has signed up Small Business Network Inc. to use its online check-imaging system.
MyECheck in El Dorado Hills, Calif., allows merchants to accept online payments as check images, which it says clear faster than automated clearing house payments. The image is created by MyECheck, which has offered its service since September 2007.
Small Business Network, a Coronado, Calif., company that negotiates discounts and provides other services to small businesses, has more than 175,000 clients that pay nearly $240 in annual dues.
The payments company "continues to add merchants to its software platform … ; this announcement and other similar ones only highlight some of the larger partnerships that the company is signing," Ed Starrs, MyECheck's chief executive, said in a press release Wednesday.
