MyECheck Inc. said the warranty provider Metropolitan Benefit Group has signed up to use its check-image payment system.
MyECheck, an El Dorado Hills, Calif., payments company, lets merchants accept payments online or by telephone from checking accounts by using check information to create a check image. It says its system is faster and more wide reaching than the automated clearing house system.
Metropolitan Benefit in Miami sells warranty products to wholesale and retail clients in North America, South America and Europe.
