National Penn Bank, Boyertown, Pa., hired Louise A. Crilley to be a vice president in the Lehigh Valley division, based in Allentown.

She will be responsible for corporate relationships with a specialty in the health-care industry in the Lehigh Valley.

Ms. Crilley had been vice president and relationship manager in the health-care services group at CoreStates Bank for northeastern Pennsylvania. Before CoreStates bought Meridian Bank in 1996, she was a vice president and relationship manager at Meridian.

National Penn Bank has $1.6 billion of assets.
