NCNB Plays Community Theme
NCNB Corp. unveiled an advertising campaign emphasizing its "traditions of community involvement, volunteerism, and sensitivity to the needs of today's work force." The Charlotte, N.C.-based banking company kicked off the effort with an ad in Wednesday's edition of USA Today.
The first ad highlights the company's involvement in education. Subsequent pieces in the all-print campaign - which is designed to reach consumers in NCNB's seven-state market - will talk about the bank's support for lower-income housing projects and programs to help employees juggle their careers and families.
"A lot of people don't realize how much we participate in our communities," said Brad Iversen, director of marketing. NCNB had been considering making its community involvement a focal point for an ad campaign for a long time, he said.
