New Fund Favors Green Stocks

Sustainable Asset Management launched the SAM Sustainable Global Active Fund, which selects stocks based on economic, social and environmental factors.

The Rabobank Group unit is betting that "companies that successfully manage sustainability issues have the potential to improve their competitive position," it said Monday.

Sustainable Asset Management offers two other U.S. mutual funds: one designed around water and the other around climate-oriented investing.

The new fund expects to levy annual investment fees of 1.45% for the retail share class with a minimum investment of $2,500.
