First National Bank of Elmer in New Jersey said Monday that it would use Open Solutions Inc.'s DNA core processing system.
The bank also chose to use several of the Glastonbury, Conn., vendor's other products, including one for digital documents and electronic statements.
"First National Bank of Elmer has been an existing Open Solutions client for several years," said Doug Carll, the bank's chief executive. "The decision to upgrade the bank to the DNA platform was influenced over a long-standing positive working relationship as well as the desire to increase our service levels by using modern technology."
Louis Hernandez Jr., Open Solutions' chairman and chief executive, described DNA as "a modern and flexible core platform" that can help First National Bank "position … for growth in a competitive market."
