New Jersey lender rebrands as Blue Foundry Bank

Boiling Springs Savings Bank in Rutherford, N.J., has a new name.

The $1.6 billion-asset bank said in a press release Monday that it rebranded as Blue Foundry Bank.

The bank, one of New Jersey's biggest thrifts, said the new name better reflects the community it serves, stating that its customers have “a roll-up-your-sleeves, committed, smart and creative mindset.”

“Our bank has always served as more than just a means of providing financial services, and our new name reflects the grit and passion we put into making people, businesses and neighborhoods stronger,” James Nesci, Blue Foundry's president and CEO, said in the release.

Blue Foundry has 17 branches in four New Jersey counties.
