First Citizens Capital Management, a unit of First Citizens Bancorp. of Columbia, S.C., has launched Capital Manager, a wealth management platform.
The new program combines fee-based managed accounts with Web-based client services technology. It is designed to expand First Citizens' investment offerings while gaining cost efficiencies through FundQuest's back-office and technology support services.
FundQuest, a Boston unit of BNP Paribas, is a provider of managed account services. The Boston firm had $40 billion in assets under management and administration as of March 31.
