NEWPORT NEWS Savings Bank, Newport News, Va., announced the following changes:

Charles D. Edmonson, senior vice president, will head the newly created operations department which includes deposit services, compliance, development of operational policies and procedures, and investor relations.

James B. Small, vice president and systems analyst, has become vice president for marketing and information systems.

Lola Horton, assistant vice president and collections manager for consumer loans, has become manager of all collections.

Charles Colbert, training officer, has been named retail banking officer.

Chuck Delusa, former manager of the Gloucester office, was named consumer loan administrator.

Newport News Savings also named assistant vice president Gordon Cooper manager of its new Oyster Point office. He had been manager of the Hidenwood office.

Susan Corder, who has been Newmarket office manager, was promoted to assistant vice president and assigned to succeed Mr. Cooper at Hidenwood. Henry L. Mills Jr. was hired to succeed Ms. Corder as manager of the Newmarket office.
