Nikko Asset Management Co. Ltd. of Tokyo has hired Kikuo Shirose the head of its investment advisory sales and marketing division.
Mr. Shirose will be in charge of Nikko's domestic investment advisory business. His hiring was announced Monday. He had been the chief executive officer of UBS Global Asset Management Ltd. since last year.
Nikko had $100.8 billion of assets under management as of March 31.
