Norwood Financial in Honesdale, Pa., has tapped a familiar name to serve as its chairman.

The $1.1 billion-asset company said in a press release Friday that William Davis Jr. had also succeeded John Marshall as chairman of its bank.

Davis served as the company's president and CEO from August 1996 until his retirement in 2009. Davis, a Norwood director since 1996, had been its vice chairman.

The company said that Andrew Forte, who owns and operates an inn in Pennsylvania, had become its vice chairman.
