David Nebhut has been named deputy comptroller for economic and policy analysis at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

A 31-year agency veteran, Nebhut most recently served as director of the OCC's policy analysis division.
In his new role, Nebhut will oversee the OCC's economic analysis of banking and the financial system, as well as research related to the economic aspects of policy issues. He will also oversee compliance risk analysis.
Nebhut fills the position vacated by Nancy Wentzler, who retired earlier this year.
