OppenheimerFunds Inc., a New York unit of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co., has hired Darren Walsh as an executive vice president and the president of its OppenheimerFunds Services, which provides transfer agency services.

Mr. Walsh will also oversee for OppenheimerFunds Inc.'s technology and fund operations groups.
He has over 20 years of executive experience expanding and leading technology and operations functions for various Denver-area companies.
He will be the senior officer in OppenheimerFunds' Colorado offices, the company said Thursday.
