Pacific Commerce Bank in Los Angeles has promoted Gail Jensen-Bigknife to chief credit officer.

Jensen-Bigknife had previously been chief credit officer at Vibra Bank in Chula Vista, Calif., which the $350 million-asset Pacific Commerce acquired last month. Since the deal closed, Jensen-Bigknife had been Pacific Commerce's chief credit administrator. She's being promoted as the current chief credit officer, Gary Weitner, requested to spend more time with his family in Arizona. Weitner will remain with Pacific Commerce as chief credit administrator.

The switch became effective Monday.

Jensen-Bigknife has 40 years' experience in banking and has served in this role for several banks based in Southern California.
