Phoenix Capital Inc. in Denver is offering an $816 million package of Fannie Mae servicing rights owned by the West Coast mortgage company Just Mortgage Inc.
According to the offering circular on the deal, the package is made up of fixed-rate loans with a weighted average age of less than one month, as of Oct. 31.
The coupon on the portfolio is 4.8%, with a servicing fee of 25 basis points. The bid deadline is Dec. 9.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
