PNC Bank in Philadelphia Names Executive

PNC Bank in Philadelphia, a subsidiary of Pittsburgh's PNC Bank Corp., has promoted Mark H. Weber to senior vice president in business banking credit administration.

He had been vice president and the leading manager for business banking in PNC's eastern division, which comprises New Jersey, Delaware, and eastern Pennsylvania. Before that he was a team leader for lending to businesses.

Mr. Weber, who is based in Philadelphia, will be responsible for all aspects of credit risk management in his department.

He joined PNC Bank in 1995 when it bought Chemical Bank's branch network in central and southern New Jersey; he had been a lender at Chemical Bank.
