PricewaterhouseCoopers Names Executive

PricewaterhouseCoopers, New York, has named Harvey J. Bazaar as leader of the global and Americas unit of its global capital markets group. Before Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand merged on July 1, he had been chairman of Coopers' international capital markets group.

Mr. Bazaar will supervise:

Michael Passarella, who is in charge of assurance and business advisory services. He had been a Price Waterhouse managing partner in the securities broker-dealer practice.

William Irving, who heads the group's management consulting services. He was a partner with Coopers & Lybrand's financial services capital markets and banking practice.

Richard Collier, who now heads tax and legal services. He was the leader of Coopers' capital markets practice in Europe.

Steven Skalak, who heads the group's financial advisory services. He had been a financial advisory services partner in the dispute analysis and investigations practice at Coopers.

Frank Raiti, who is in charge of global human resource solutions. He led the human resources advisory practice at Coopers.

PricewaterhouseCoopers also hired Roy W. Ellegard as managing director in the valuation services group and head of capital asset valuations in New York.

He had been national director of capital equipment valuations advisers at Ernst & Young. Mr. Ellegard has 18 years of experience assessing the value of machinery, equipment, and real estate.
