LAKE FOREST, Ill., Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- RoundTable HealthcarePartners ("RoundTable"), an operating-oriented private equity firm focusedexclusively on the healthcare industry, announced today that its portfoliocompany Avalign Technologies, Inc. ("Avalign") completed the acquisition ofNemcomed, Inc. ("Nemcomed"). Nemcomed is a leading designer andmanufacturer of precision machined medical implants and instrumentation fororthopedic specialties. Avalign is RoundTable's platform investment in themedical device outsourcing market and Nemcomed is the third businessacquired to create the platform. The other two businesses are InstrumedInternational, which specializes in the manufacturing and sourcing ofpremium quality surgical instruments, and Advantis Medical, a leadingdesigner and manufacturer of medical case / tray organizing systems forsurgical instruments, implants and medical devices.
