The bank technology vendor S1 Corp. has agreed to refer clients to SurePayroll Inc. to provide online payroll services to small-business clients.

SurePayroll, of Glenview, Ill., said its service can go live with banks and credit unions in days. It can handle payroll processing as well as tax services. SurePayroll also provides marketing support for its services.
The referral deal "helps S1 add value to banks and credit unions that want to offer payroll as a way of attracting new customers and retaining current customers," Jan Kruger, the divisional president of S1, of Norcross, Ga., said in a press release Thursday.
