Scottrade to Open Virginia, Ohio Branches

Scottrade Inc., a St. Louis online brokerage firm, announced Tuesday that it will open its second branch in the Richmond, Va., area and its second in the Cincinnati area.

The two branches — one in Midlothian, Va., and the other in West Chester, Ohio — will open Monday.

The branches are two of six that Scottrade plans to open this month. The brokerage, which is known for its $7 online trades, opened its first Richmond branch in 1993 and now has 292 branches across the country, including seven in Virginia and three in Ohio.
