SEARS MORTGAGE Corp., Riverwoods, Ill., a unit of Sears, Roebuck and Co., appointed Robert V. Burton executive vice president and chief financial officer in charge of planning and strategy.
Mr. Burton spent 10 years with Security Pacific Bank, Los Angeles, as senior vice president and chief financial officer for global trading and seven years as chief financial officer of its residential real estate group.
His most recent position was senior vice president and chief financial officer in Bank of America's wholesale banking group.
