ServisFirst Adds Two States for Correspondent Business

ServisFirst Bancshares of Birmingham, Ala., is expanding its correspondent banking business into Tennessee and Georgia with the addition of two new executives.

Stephen H. Shelton will cover the Tennessee region while Richard Lane will oversee Georgia. The $2.5 billion-asset ServisFirst launched its correspondent banking division in April 2011. ServisFirst said Monday that it has more than 60 correspondent banking relationships in Alabama.

Shelton was most recently vice president of First Tennessee Correspondent Services. Lane served as a senior vice president of the correspondent banking group for State Bank & Trust in Macon, Ga.
