Fidelity National Information Services Inc. said it has signed six customers this year for its Horizon core banking platform.
Last year FIS signed 16 customers for the Horizon platform, which it said uses relationship management technology to provide a comprehensive view of banks' customers.
The new clients include Frederick County Bank in Maryland, which said Horizon should aid its near-term plans.
"We have an aggressive growth strategy in place for 2010," Marty Lapera, the bank's president and chief executive, said in a press release Wednesday from FIS. "We required a technology platform that would support our plan for expansion."
