Southwest Bank Names Executive

SOUTHWEST

Southwest Bank of Texas, Houston, has hired T.J. Raguso, Eric Corley, and Alan Atchley as vice presidents and has promoted three assistant vice presidents to that rank.

Mr. Raguso is an officer in the international department of Southwest's Post Oak Park corporate office. He is responsible for marketing international banking services. Before joining the bank he was the international banking officer in charge of Latin America at Hibernia National Bank, New Orleans.

Mr. Corley was hired as a professional and executive lender, responsible for home equity, construction, commercial, and mortgage lending at the Northwest Crossing branch. He was an assistant vice president at Chase Bank of Texas, a unit of Chase Manhattan Corp.

Mr. Atchley is in charge of marketing in the accounts receivable division at the Hempstead branch. He had been a senior vice president at Strategic Finance Inc. in Houston.

The three employees promoted to vice president were Buddy Cox, Melinda Nelson, and Hank Holmes.

Mr. Cox was named technology manager and intranet-Internet vice president.

He manages the bank's Internet, intranet, and electronic commerce activities.

Ms. Nelson is a commercial lending officer at the Post Oak Park branch, responsible for middle-market lending; she came to the bank from Chase Bank of Texas.

Mr. Holmes is in the real estate lending division.
