StatPro Group, which provides portfolio analytics and data solutions for 400 clients in the global asset management industry, has upgraded the company's StatPro Direct client services portal to a Web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform.

According to the company, StatPro Direct was initially a client services platform, allowing clients to access support features and information on their own applications. The new version allows hosted applications that can be accessed from within the StatPro website.

“The new SaaS platform offers our clients the choice of hosted hardware implementations and failover options,” with improved uptime, application performance, security, live monitoring, and backup, says CTO Neil Smyth, in a press release. He added the hosted applications included a new complex-asset pricing service “that is entirely pure-play SaaS."
