SunGard Data Systems Inc. has acquired Aspiren, a provider of fraud prevention and performance management software.

SunGard, a business continuity service provider, announced the purchase Wednesday. It did not disclose the price.
Aspiren, of London, was established in 2001 and will become part of the Wayne, Pa., company's Vivista business unit, which provides communications technology and business support services to government and law enforcement agencies in the United Kingdom.
The acquisition is not expected to have a material impact on SunGard's financial results.
