of ABN Amro Bank, have started a service that lets corporate customers get access via the Internet to a seven-year record of paid checks, stored as images.
The Image Archive service is available now.
Using a personal computer equipped with a Web browser, customers can retrieve images within seconds. The banks expect the service, which offers access from any wired location, to be useful to executives who telecommute or travel frequently.
"Image Archive eliminates the time-consuming administrative tasks associated with manual check retrieval," said Julie Kim-Norville, product manager for LaSalle and ABN Amro.
