Tech Bytes: C.C. Pace Enhances Software Link to Freddie

C.C. Pace Systems Inc. said it has upgraded its Golden Gate software to free lenders from having to double-enter loan information being transmitted to Freddie Mac.

The new data mapping feature allows lenders to import information from their loan origination systems. The information then can be sent to Freddie Mac's automated underwriting service, Loan Prospector.

Golden Gate software acts as a type of facilitator, allowing lenders to send and receive data from Loan Prospector, company executives said.

McA Financial Corp., a mortgage lender based in Southfield, Mich., is one of the first signed on to use the new capability.
