CommerceNet, a consortium of more than 500 companies supporting and developing electronic commerce, has named Mark Resch executive vice president.
A former executive at Xerox Corp., Mr. Resch is responsible for all aspects of business development including revenue generation, partnerships, strategic planning, and marketing.
"We are extremely pleased to have Mark join CommerceNet," said Randall Whiting, the group's president and chief executive officer. Mr. Resch was "one of the earliest members and supporters of CommerceNet. We are confident his proven leadership abilities and hands-on approach to business development will help CommerceNet continue to grow."
Mr. Resch was general manager of new software and Internet opportunities in Xerox's document services group. Earlier he was a founder and vice president of operations at Luna Imaging Inc., vice president and director of computer imaging at CRSS Architects Inc., and director of graphic arts at Computer Curriculum Corp.
