The Federal Reserve Bank Names Executive

The Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland has promoted Suzanne Howe and Ruth Clevenger to assistant vice president.

Ms. Howe has been responsible for the bank's automated clearing house, funds transfer, and electronic delivery services. Her new priority will be to merge these functions and other areas into electronic payments customer services by yearend.

Ms. Clevenger has managed the Cleveland Fed's community affairs department since joining the bank in 1995.

Dean Longo was promoted to consultant in information technology services. Mr. Longo, who had been a technical leader for several critical automation activities, will now be responsible for designing and making changes to the bank's local area network and for year-2000 compliance.
