TRANS FINANCIAL Bancorp, a Bowling Green, Ky.-based bank holding company, retained an executive recruiting firm to conduct a nationwide search for a chief financial officer to replace David Blackburn, who is leaving the company.

Douglas M. Lester, chairman and chief executive officer, said that he and Barry Bray, executive vice president and the bank's chief credit officer, will be responsible for inquiries from the investment community.

Sharetta Coleman, the bank's comptroller, will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations until a successor to Mr. Blackburn is found.
