Business travel will increase despite a weak economy and the unfavorable tax provisions recently signed by President Clinton, according to a poll of corporate travel managers.

Most travel managers -- 73% -- said they expected the average length of business trips would remain the same.

Robert Levaro, vice president of commercial card products for Visa International, said the economy and legislation represented difficult obstacles, but added: "This research clearly indicates they will not hinder further growth."
