Two bank analysts leave FIG Partners to join D.A. Davidson

FIG Partners has lost two bank analysts just weeks after being sold.

David Bishop and Kevin Fitzsimmons left the firm last week to join D.A. Davidson as senior research analysts, according to their LinkedIn profiles. Fitzsimmons is listed as a managing director, while Bishop is a senior vice president.

Fitzsimmons, a former commercial bank examiner, had been with FIG Partners since January 2018. Before that, he was with Hovde Group and Sandler O'Neill. Bishop joined FIG Partners in 2015 after working for Drexel Hamilton.

Janney Montgomery Scott in Philadelphia agreed in March to buy FIG Partners. The deal closed in April.
